House ap­proves $13 Mil­lion loan for PMDU con­sul­tants

The prime min­is­ter also re­ferred to the 2000 Gryn­berg con­tract, and the non­in­volve­ment of pub­lic ser­vants. He went on: "I hear this con­cern with re­gards to con­sul­tan­cies and bring­ing peo­ple from the out­side. But there's a term we use: best prac­tices. We are a small coun­try; we can­not be­lieve that by our­selves we're go­ing to solve all these prob­lems." He said the prob­lem of im­ple­men­ta­tion is not lim­ited to Saint Lu­cia, but through­out the Caribbean and that this pro­gramme is about "em­pow­er­ing our civil ser­vants to re­solve the prob­lems."
