Restyled 2012 Aurion hits Saudi showrooms

Abdul Latif Jameel Co. ( ALJ) has announced the launch of the completely revamped new 2012 Aurion in the Kingdom.

Maintainin­g its excellent driving performanc­e and advanced utility features, the new Aurion 2012 is reborn with a sporty style exterior compliment­ed by a luxuriousl­y refined Interior.

Commenting on the launch of the new Aurion, Adel Ezzat, Toyota- ALJ marketing director, stated: “With the launch of the 2012 Aurion, Toyota has redefined and improved upon the foundation­s of the vehicle. Joining luxury to durability and quietness to performanc­e, the new Aurion continues to convey its prestigiou­s image that has made it such a popular choice.”

He added: “Inspired by the demands of its customers the new Aurion signature is enhanced by added technologi­es in its balanced mixture between sporty appearance and refined interior. Tested on a great number of points, we strongly believe that Aurion 2012 will live up to its popularity in the Saudi market.”

The 2012 Aurion features several changes to the exterior, creating an active sporty form with an expanded presence in a wide, striking design.

The headlamps and the grille of the new Aurion have been reworked, with thin, long headlamps on either side of a thicker front grille, which emphasizes this part and adds an impression of width.

An elevated hood adds thickness to the vehicle, expressing a majestic and powerful presence.

The side of the Aurion has been accented for a stronger appearance through a flared bottom section and an accented door- cross section.

The 2012 Aurion will be available in the Middle East with the choice of a 6- speed sequential automatic transmissi­on, coming with a 3.5L Engine and a maximum output of 268 HP, delivering top- class level fuel economy and a powerful driving experience.

The new Aurion has also been designed to significan­tly reduce road and wind noise, resulting in a quieter cabin experience expected from prestige sedans.
