Conference discusses airport security
A two-day Airport Security International Conference and Exhibition was launched yesterday at the Jeddah Hilton to highlight international experience in the fields of civil aviation security and air cargo security.
The conference will also review the latest amendments to laws and regulations related to aviation security services.
The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) organized the event with the participation of international experts, leading airport security companies and representatives of Arab and global aviation organizations and civil aviation authority delegations.
The conference will highlight the key role of the international organizations and associations in promoting civil aviation security and reinforcing international support in the field of airport security.
It will also address economic aspects of air carrier security and air cargo, in addition to a number of topics relevant to civil aviation security.
The accompanying exhibition showcases the latest airport security technologies used by leading specialist companies in the aviation industry. They show their latest achievements, products, technical and security services in both airport facilities and air services.
