DPS Jeddah scores big in Grade 12 exams
Fifty-seven students from Delhi Public School-Jeddah recently appeared for the All-India Senior Secondary Certificate examinations (Class XII) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education and whose results were declared on Monday.
Nazneen Fatima from science stream topped in the school with 94 percent followed by Tindivanam Murali Srividya (commerce) 92.4 percent and Tabir Shakeel Malik (science stream) and Mohammed Yunus Ali Khan (science) with 90.4 percent each.
Nazneen Fatima scored 100 percent marks in biology. In English, 10 students topped scoring 95 percent. They are Nazneen Fatima, Ayoshna Saha, Nada Mir Iftekhar, Sruthi Chengalrayan, Tabir Shakeel Malik, Manu Sharat Raj, Mohammed Taha Saleem, Alisha Firoz Inamdar, Tindivanam Murali Srividya and Urvashi Lalchand Tolani.
In mathematics, accountancy, economics and business studies, Tindivanam Murali Srividya topped with 94, 95, 82 and 96 percent respectively. Vhora Noaman Abdul Hafiz topped in physics with 92 percent, Nazneen Fatima in chemistry 95 percent, Mohammed Yunus Ali Khan in computer science 93 percent and Vhora Noaman Abdul Hafiz in informatics practices with 97 per- cent. Nawid Mohammed Nabi Khan topped in Arabic and Nazneen Fatima in Urdu.
“The results are commendable,” said Chairman Zia Nadwi. He appreciated the efforts of the teachers, hard work of the students and the cooperation of the parents. Humaira Naseem, academic director, applauded the teacher’s dedication and sincerity in helping the students. She also appreciated the willingness of the students to put in their best.
