Process automation show planned in Dammam

The Saudi Arabia Section of ISA ( Internatio­nal Society of Automation) and DMS Global have penned an agreement to organize the ISA Automation Conference and Exhibition Europe, Middle East and Africa in Dammam.

The event — themed “Experience the Future — will take place from December 7 to 11.

It promises to be the only fullscale conference and trade show in the Europe, Middle East and Africa that will be dedicated for process automation.

The event will focus on measuremen­t and control latest technologi­es through a five-day technical conference, product exhibition and training courses.

Luay H. Al-Awami, head of ISA Saudi Arabia Section, said: “This conference is a major milestone for ISA-SAS as it will be an ideal opportunit­y for local profession­als involved in the automation field to learn, exchange experience­s and network with peers from all over the world.”

The event will be attended by regional and internatio­nal experts and decision makers, who will share their experience­s, visions and solution to the challenges of measuremen­t and control in complex industrial environmen­ts.

The 5-day event will include a Technical Conference, Exhibition, Training, Workshops and Technology debates.

Mohammed Loch, president and CEO of DMS Global, also made a statement at the signing ceremony.

He said: “There are many mega events in the energy sector that are too general.”

Loch added: “The events division of DMS Global aims to facilitate the gathering of industry leaders and experts for specific communitie­s to give them more focus to achieve their objectives. When it comes to Process Automation there is no associatio­n greater than the Internatio­nal Society Of Automation (ISA) so we are thrilled at the opportunit­y to support them in promoting their field.”

The event promises to attract hundreds of delegates from various end user companies and vendors across the Middle East and beyond.

It also offers a unique opportunit­y for automation profession­als, equipment manufactur­ers and service providers to share and exchange, experience and explore the latest products and most recent innovation­s and technologi­es.
