Seagulls group of restaurants recently opened its eighth branch on the Corniche in Jeddah's Al-Shatie district, offering a range of delights to savor.

Building upon the famed Seafood experience, the group has ventured to conquer the adventurous field of multi-cuisine nonseafood arena.

The new restaurant, built on three floors, has the rooftop, named Seagulls Sea-View Roof Garden Restaurant, which is entirely dedicated to the Chinese, Italian, Moroccan, Arabic and Indian cuisine while the first two floors maintains the Seagulls tradition of fresh and quality seafood.

With a total area of more than 1,500 square meters, this project has special banqueting, conference and meetings facilities in separate halls named Sea Waves and Sea Palace both of which faces the sea. Apart from this, the Sea Breeze area is the open-air section, where the customers can delight their taste-buds while enjoying the panoramic view of the Red Sea. Traditional Arabian Majlis with a capacity of up to 40 persons is another specialty of the new branch.

“The secret to great tasty seafood is quality and freshness, that is why since the opening of our first restaurant in 2002 we insist on the finest and freshest seafood available in the market. We strive for the highest quality in all things — food, beverages, service and ambiance. From the seafood to the squeezed fruit juices, the experience our guests get is real and fresh,” said Hamad S. Al-Battal, chairman of the Seagulls Catch Food Service Co.

"Having seven other outlets operating in an array of locations in Jeddah, Seagulls restaurants are uniquely designed to create an inviting, original and relaxed atmosphere, where guests can enjoy the highest quality dining experience," he added. Gartner Inc. has positioned Ericsson as an LTE industry leader within the "Leaders" quadrant of its 2013 Magic Quadrant for LTE Infrastructure report for the fourth year in a row.

Gartner, a major worldwide IT research and advisory firm, evaluated end-to-end vendors of LTE equipment (radio and core) based on their ability to execute and completeness of vision in the LTE market.

Ericsson provides heterogeneous network solutions with Wi-Fi integration for small cells, an end-to-end LTE offering with a large footprint, WCDMA and CDMA, together with professional services.

Anders Lindblad, president, Ericsson Region Middle East, says: "Being recognized by Gartner as a leader in the LTE Magic Quadrant yet another year running confirms Ericsson’s commitment to delivering users in the MENA region and beyond with the best network performance possible.

“As a leader in a wide range of services, including LTE Broadcast and VoLTE, Ericsson hopes to continue pushing the region toward a Networked Society, where everything will be connected in real-time, by partnering with local operators to deliver LTE, and its associated top quality benefits, to end-users."

Ericsson is present in high traffic markets, and of the top 10 LTE operators ranked by LTE subscriptions in May, 2013, Ericsson powers 9 of these top 10 LTE operators’ live networks.

Ericsson is the prime driver of open standards and has had the most significant impact on the LTE specifications released to date. Ericsson expects to hold 25 percent of all essential patents for LTE, making it the largest patent holder in the industry. Ericsson is the industry leader in managed services, managing networks that serve over 800 million subscribers globally.
