‘Clean Jubail’ campaign launched
The Hygiene Department of the Royal Commission of Jubail ( RCJ) inaugurated an awareness campaign on hygiene in Jubail Industrial City this week. The campaign seeks to promote awareness about the importance of f maintaining hygiene among residents and visitors in Jubail.
The organizers of the event said the campaign called upon all community segments to maintain good hygiene habits, as well as seeking to highlight the cultural side of f Jubail.
The head of the Hygiene Department at the RCJ, Manie Al-Harshan, said the campaign activities included competitions for all ages with the participation of RCJ business sector.
He said, “The activities included an awareness program involving knowledge and creativity for more than 400 students from different educational levels, , in addition to a day allocated entirely for people with special needs.”
Al-Harshan said, “Another awareness and entertaining program will be held at Fanateer Commercial Complex for three days and will include many competitions and entertainment programs, theater activities, awards, and great prizes for participants”
Regarding community participation, , the campaign took to a daylong cleaning of the Taiba district beach in order to further entrench the concept of preserving public beaches and parks within the community for mutual benefit.
The diving club in Jubail is also expected to participate in the campaign to clean Jubail Islands, while RCJ contractors will remove rubble in more than 11 different locations across the city. A special website for this campaign is available for registration. Visit: www.kfo2015. com.
