Jakarta talks focus on Al­waleed’s in­vest­ments


JED­DAH: Prince Al­waleed bin Talal, chair­man of King­dom Hold­ing Com­pany (KHC), vis­ited Jakarta and met In­done­sian Pres­i­dent Joko Wi­dodoin.

Retno L. P. Mar­sudi, min­is­ter of for­eign af­fairs, Prof. Dr. Prati­kno, min­is­ter of state sec­re­tary, Sudirman Said, min­is­ter of en­ergy and min­eral re­sources, Agus Mif­tah Abege­briel, am­bas­sador of In­done­sia to Saudi Ara­bia, at­tended the meet­ing.

Hassna Al­turki, ex­ec­u­tive man­ager for in­ter­na­tional re­la­tions to the chair­man, Hani Agha, head of travel and ex­ter­nal af­fairs de­part- ment and Fa­had bin Nafel, se­nior ex­ec­u­tive as­sis­tant to the chair­man and Reem Al­mar­shad, co­or­di­na­tor, travel and ex­ter­nal af­fairs de­part­ment, were also present.

Dur­ing the meet­ing, the pres­i­dent and Prince Al­waleed dis­cussed a num­ber of gen­eral lo­cal, re­gional is­sues and the global eco­nomic cli­mate.

More­over, the two dis­cussed in­vest­ment, hu­man­i­tar­ian and so­cial is­sues re­lated to their re­spec­tive coun­tries.

In ad­di­tion, the pres­i­dent and Prince Al­waleed dis­cussed the prince’s global in­vest­ments through KHC.
