Jakarta talks focus on Alwaleed’s investments
JEDDAH: Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), visited Jakarta and met Indonesian President Joko Widodoin.
Retno L. P. Marsudi, minister of foreign affairs, Prof. Dr. Pratikno, minister of state secretary, Sudirman Said, minister of energy and mineral resources, Agus Miftah Abegebriel, ambassador of Indonesia to Saudi Arabia, attended the meeting.
Hassna Alturki, executive manager for international relations to the chairman, Hani Agha, head of travel and external affairs depart- ment and Fahad bin Nafel, senior executive assistant to the chairman and Reem Almarshad, coordinator, travel and external affairs department, were also present.
During the meeting, the president and Prince Alwaleed discussed a number of general local, regional issues and the global economic climate.
Moreover, the two discussed investment, humanitarian and social issues related to their respective countries.
In addition, the president and Prince Alwaleed discussed the prince’s global investments through KHC.
