Emi­rates signs tourism de­vel­op­ment MoU with JTB

Abed Al-Raz­zaq Ara­biyat, JTB’s MD, com­mented: “Tap­ping into Emi­rates’ ex­ten­sive global net­work will give the JTB ac­cess to mar­kets in re­gions that hold great po­ten­tial for our unique tourism propo­si­tion. Through this MoU, our aim is to jointly put in place the best strate­gies and prac­tices to in­crease Jor­dan’s mar­ket­ing foot­print and po­si­tion it as a pre­ferred des­ti­na­tion in mar­kets like Aus­tralia, and the grow­ing economies of Cen­tral and South­ern Amer­ica, among other tar­get mar­kets.”

Yazan Al-Khu­dairi, re­gional di­rec­tor of JTB and Jor­da­nian tourism at­taché in the UAE, said: “The sign­ing of this MoU with Emi­rates Air­line holds great be­cause it comes at a time when we cel­e­brate our 70th In­de­pen­dence Day. It’s also the first of its kind in terms of level of com­mit­ment to de­vel­op­ing and pro­mot­ing tourism in new key tar­get mar­kets and de­vel­op­ing Jor­dan’s tourism com­pet­i­tive­ness in these re­gions.”
