Huawei spon­sors Ca­reer Day, tal­ent events at PNU

We are keen to col­lab­o­rate our ef­forts with Princess Nourah bint Ab­dul­rah­man Univer­sity in these events in or­der to pro­vide the nec­es­sary sup­port for young Saudi women, which comes in the frame­work of the com­pany's com­mit­ment to­ward sup­port­ing cre­ative tal­ents, build­ing the ca­pa­bil­i­ties of young women, em­pow­er­ing women and pro­mot­ing their ac­tive role in build­ing and de­vel­op­ing the so­ci­ety.”

Ning added: “Saudi Ara­bia and its univer­si­ties and col­leges have made great progress in the area of sup­port­ing young women, as they rep­re­sent one of the key pil­lars of the de­vel­op­ment process. The ef­forts aimed to stim­u­late fe­male stu­dents to do their best and un­lock their creativity in their stud­ies, which will be re­flected pos­i­tively on high­light­ing their tal­ents and achiev­ing out­stand­ing re­sults in the fields of re­search, knowl­edge, and in­no­va­tion and build­ing a strong knowl­edge based so­ci­ety."

Dur­ing the Ca­reer Day, Huawei re­ceived the grad­u­ates’ re­sumes, in ad­di­tion to re­view­ing the univer­sity out­comes and the grad­u­ates’ ca­reer in­ter­ests, be­sides in­tro­duc­ing those who are in­ter­ested to the work­ing en­vi­ron­ment and de­vel­op­ment pro­grams at Huawei Saudi Ara­bia.

Ning pointed out that in­vest­ing in hu­man re­sources lies at the heart of the com­pany's around 16-year pres­ence in the King­dom.
