CH XI, Jamoom Fighters, Al-Burj, Kashmir Stags qualify

JJEDDAH: CH XI, Jamoom Fighters, Al-Burj, Kashmir Stags along with Jamoom Tigers, UT Lines, Saudi Oil and ECU Lines qualified for the quarterfin­als in the Kanoo Premier League.

Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo sponsored the t tournament under the auspices of the Jeddah C Cricket Associatio­n ( JCA).

ECU Lines’ emphatic 89-run win over Al-Zafer was courtesy of Karamat who scored a scintillat­ing unbeaten 122 runs w with 13 fours and 5 sixes.

UT Lines, led by skipper Shad, had a spell of

L2 for 17 and a quick 28 runs in a big 7-wicket win against Makkah Kings.

Saudi Oil continuing their good form struggled but managed to beat Ittihad by 17 runs thanks to Mohsin who scored 36 and took 2 for 21. All-round displays by Majid (49 runs and 2 for 24) and Naseer (21 runs and 3 for 26) helped Kashmir Stags beat ARM United by 20 runs.

Jamoom Tigers continued their fine form to remain on top beating Hyderabad Green by 23 runs, with Adnan on 94 inclusive of 4 fours and 4 sixes. Al-Burj raced to an 8-wicket win over Riyadh Foods in a lowscoring match as they bundled them out for 76 runs with Faizan taking 4 for 20.
