Oman Air sponsors six employees to perform Haj

-

Oman Air, the national carrier of Oman, has announced the names of six employees who will receive the airline’s assistance to perform this year’s Haj.

The draw, granting staff the opportunity to visit the Holy city of Makkah and to perform Haj is in recognition of the hard work and dedication of staff, who have assisted Oman Air in achieving its remarkable progress.

In the presence of Abdulrahman Al-Busaidy, deputy CEO and chief commercial officer, Oman Air; Asma Al-Ghabshi, executive vice president human resources, Oman Air; and a number of involved staff, the names of the employees to be sponsored by the company to perform pilgrimage this year were drawn.

Beside the six winners, a further six staff were drawn for the waiting list. As per the guidelines, only those employees who have not performed Haj before and have completed five years of service at Oman Air were qualified to enter the draw.

This invitation reflects Oman Air’s appreciation of the efforts of its employees; the airline considers its human resources as its greatest assets and the management expressed its delight at being able to offer this opportunity to staff.

Oman Air is determined to ensure that the standards of recognition and incentives offered to staff match those of the airline’s award winning air and ground services.
