Tawuniya ‘best corporate insurance solutions provider’
The Company for Cooperative Insurance (Tawuniya) has been recognized as this year’s best corporate insurance solutions provider in Saudi Arabia, according to Capital Finance International (CFI) magazine.
The CFI judging panel recognized Tawuniya’s efforts in developing its products and offering innovative insurance solutions that suit different business sectors.
Tawuniya offers over 60 insurance products in three distinct market segments — medical, motor and property & casualty — the largest range of insurance programs available in Saudi Arabia.
“The company, founded in 1986 and now the Kingdom’s premier insurer, maintains an exceptionally strong financial position with ample liquidity and the attendant top credit rating sustained for over a decade,” a press release said.
According to the report, Tawuniya has been recognized for its technical expertise and prompt claims processing. “Tawuniya preserves a leading edge over the competition due to its comprehensive training programs that keep staff abreast of new developments and products innovation. Tawuniya ... offers its products and services through a network of branches and claim centers that reaches all segments of the Kingdom,” the report added.
The report also stated that Tawuniya offers insurance products tailored to the needs of small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). “Businessmen benefit from access to the company’s vast reservoir of risk mitigating strategies, policies and initiatives. Also, all customer segments benefit from special programs and initiatives offered by the company to activate its strategic approach toward the customer centricity,” it stated.
Majed Al-Bahiti, Tawuniya’s marketing general manager, said the award reflects “the excellent performance of Tawuniya in 2016 and the outstanding initiatives the company has implemented in 2017 as well as the company’s efforts in providing innovative products and services to meet the needs and expectations of its customers, in line with Tawuniya’s strategy to put customers at the core of its interests.”
