Saudi football club Ittihad signed a sponsorship agreement with leading e-shopping website Noon, in what is considered to be the largest deal of its kind in Saudi club history.

@noon tweeted the news — “We at Noon are very proud to be the official sponsor of Ittihad Saudi Club” — and people were later given a discount code to celebrate the sponsorship.

Fans welcomed the deal. @iima889_ said: “Ittihad will return strongly and this sponsorship by Noon is a major first step in the right direction.”

Another, like @Thedeanoflove, joked about the matching colors of black and yellow for Noon and Ittihad, tweeting: “Yellow matches yellow.”

@lays_baed said: “After this day Noon will have its name plastered over the chests of every Ittihadi player — they indeed have every reason to be proud.”
