Supernatural gothic tale ‘Ava/Ada’ coming to Dhahran

Cinema, “Ava/Ada” combines shadow puppetry, video, live action and live music to present a gothictinged tale that explores “mourning and melancholy, self and other,” according to a press release.

Ithra’s latest production, a Japanese performance of a classic Indian love story, “MahabharataNalacharitam” ends on Dec. 7.

Both productions are part of Ithra’s “continued efforts to promote cross- cultural exchange,” the release says.

One-day ticket holders and those with a three-day grandstand pass can benefit from Park & Ride, which will run from King Saud University. Regular buses will travel to the venue from across Riyadh and there are drop-off zones for Uber, Careem and taxis.
