Lebanese singer Najwa Karam offered apologies to Lebanese singer Elissa over what the latter described as the former’s indifferen­t attitude toward her health issues.

In an interview with MBC Trending on Saturday, Karam said she hopes to be there for her in good times and that Elissa does not go through any bad times, in which she said she will stand by her though too. Karam’s fans applauded her for her kindness.

Saudi Arabia’s vernacular visual culture takes the spotlight in a solo exhibition at the Jameel Arts Centre in Dubai. Riyadh-based Maha Malluh’s works are displayed in Gallery 1 of the art center, where the exhibit runs until Feb. 9.
