King Abdul Aziz Port in Dammam has set a new Saudi regional record for the highest number of containers handled from one ship. A total of 12,691 containers from the Hong Kong-flagged cargo vessel Cosco Shipping Aquarius were dealt with through Saudi Global Ports Co., the operator of the second container terminal, breaking the record for container handling from a single ship in the ports of the Kingdom’s Eastern Province.
