Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift has dropped a re-recorded version of her breakthrough 2008 album “Fearless,” following a public battle with former manager Scooter Braun over the rights to her first six albums.
The star has put her years of experience, knowledge and skills back into some of her oldest tracks. The recordings are cleaner and there is also a maturity to her voice. @marlveloustime tweeted: “Doesn’t this just make you so proud of her? 50.2M **filtered** streams for a re-recording of a 13 year old album!! We are immensely proud of her!! #FearlessTaylorsVersion.”
@mainpopgirl said: “Selling 500K albums on first week is one thing. But doing that in LESS THAN 18 HOURS, for a re-recording of a 13-year-old, diamond country album that already sold 28M+ global units, is on an entirely different level. Taylor Swift *is* the music industry.”
@badkindofrare tweeted: “Taylor Swift really made a thirteen year old album sound completely fresh, the music industry for a reason #fearlesstaylorsversion.”
