Hani Shaker

The Egyptian singer Hani Shaker appeared on Wednesday’s episode of “Shaik Al-Hara Wa Al-Jarea” hosted by Inas El-Degheidy. Shaker discussed his private life and relationships with fellow singers and celebrities, but most importantly, he talked about the rumors surrounding the time when his late daughter was sick.

He addressed the rumors that he neglected his daughter Dina, who was in Paris receiving treatment, during her final days to hold a concert. Shaker strongly denied this claim, arguing that he did not perform live for three years after his daughter passed away.

Shaker added that he never left her side while in Paris and he had no spirit to hold a concert. “Seeing a soul leaving our world would make anyone in a mental state of wanting to stay away from throwing any type of celebration. I would’ve never done that,” he said. “The ugliest feeling in the world is seeing your child slipping from between your hands,” Shaker said in between his tears. “The toughest affliction is the loss of a child. May Allah be with every single parent who ever lost a child.”
