First Tamimi supermarket opens doors in Madinah
Tamimi Markets has announced the opening of its first supermarket in Madinah, located on AlAbbas Ibn Ubadah Street facing the popular Al-Hijrah Walk. This new retail complex features a water fountain, several popular retail brands and ample parking.
Special deals to mark the opening are found throughout the store for shoppers to discover and enjoy.
Tamimi’s Madinah branch is its sixth location in the western region, with two more opening soon in Umluj and Tabuk, and more to follow. Tamimi Markets now has 73 supermarket locations nationwide along with 12 cafes.
The supermarket chain is known for its focus on fresh foods. “At Tamimi Markets, you’ll not only find many of your favorite items at great prices but also discover the colors and flavors of the world in one convenient shop,” said Abdulaziz Tamimi, CEO of Tamimi Markets. “Our Healthy Living section features an impressive range of natural, organic, gluten-free and overall ‘good for you’ products that will appeal to the many healthconscious families who enjoy the Al-Hijrah Walk,” he added.
The new Madinah store boasts a number of innovative features such as the “click and collect” service, which allows customers to shop online for thousands of products and pick up their order from the store whenever it is convenient for them. Online shoppers can order at www.shop.tamimimarkets. com, or on their smartphone by downloading Tamimi’s app from the Apple App Store or GooglePlay.
“There are many fresh innovations to see and explore at our new store,” said Bobby Rajendran, general manager of Tamimi Markets.
“For example, our Madinah branch features fresh bulk foods by Miros, an attractively priced, high-quality souq filled with popular dried fruits, nuts and spices. Miros also offers time-saving prepackaged products for those in a hurry.”
