TheSix Summer fun

-

If you struggle to keep your kids entertained during the summer holidays, here are some activities they

can enjoy at home.

Board games

Stock up on their favorite board games. A must have is “Bank El-Hazz,” the Arabic

edition of monopoly. It is a game that consumes a lot of time so it will keep them busy for longer — and isn’t that

every parent’s dream?

Beach day

A day by the beach is always a

child’s favorite. Saudi Arabia’s Farasan Island offers exciting boat rides, water sports and diving experiences for a day trip

that’s a little different.

Arts and crafts

Whether it’s painting, stitching

a dress for dolls or creating objects with play-dough, it’s time to let your children’s

creativity run wild.

Baking

Get your children to help you bake fun-shaped cookies, colorful cupcakes or sprinkled donuts

during their summer break.

Summer camps

There are a multitude of summer camps for your children to enjoy

this summer. Kids in Jeddah can opt for FasTrackids, while Bounce offers a summer-long schedule in

Jeddah and Riyadh.

Reading

Not all children enjoy reading, so make it fun and act out the stories.

The Arabic book “Kalila wa Dimna” has a collection of fables that your child can perform to add

a little drama to staying at home.
