‘Bridgerton’ production paused after COVID-19 case on set
Filming for season two of hit Netflix show “Bridgerton” has shut down again after another positive coronavirus disease (COVID-19) test on set.
Production of the Regency-era romantic drama will be paused for an indefinite period, but Netflix did not comment on whether it was a cast or crew member who had tested positive.
Filming was also recently shut down for 24 hours when a crew member tested positive for the virus.
The series has earned 12 nominations for the upcoming 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards. Season one star and fan favorite, Rege-Jean Page, received the series’ only acting nomination.
