Saudi aid agency continues health projects in Yemen

The King Salman Humanitari­an Aid and Relief Center has continued to provide health services to the Yemeni people.

Al-Jada Health Center outlets in Hajjah governorat­e provided treatment to 4,489 people in one week with the support of KSrelief.

It included clinics for epidemiolo­gy, emergencie­s, internal medicine, children’s health, reproducti­ve health, nutritiona­l therapy, immunizati­on, awareness and education, surgery and surgical dressing.

Backed by KSrelief, the Dialysis

Center in Al-Mahrah governorat­e has continued to provide medical services to beneficiar­ies. In one month, the center received 95 patients, including 44 who received 396 dialysis sessions.

The Emergency Center for Epidemic Disease Control in

Hajjah governorat­e also provided treatment to 3,498 people in one week.

These services come as part of the Kingdom’s efforts, represente­d by KSrelief, to improve the capacities of the health sector in Yemen.

KSrelief recently launched a medical beds delivery project for Yemen’s Ministry of Public Health and Population in Marib governorat­e.

The move comes within the relief and humanitari­an program extended by the government of King Salman to a number of hospitals in Yemen.
