JLo announces first album in eight years
Jennifer Lopez’s latest album, “This Is Me … Now,” due for release in 2023, will be the singer’s first full-length effort in eight years. The star, whose social media went dark in the days leading up to her big drop, shared the news early on Friday.
In a short clip that showed her recreating the cover of the 2002 album and then transforming into 2022, Lopez wrote on Instagram, “This is me then, this is me now.” The album’s news release read: “Heralding a new era of music for Jennifer Lopez, ‘This Is Me … Now’ chronicles the emotional, spiritual and psychological journey that she has taken over the past two decades. An emotionally raw and honest project, unlike any she has produced before, she writes and sings about her life and experiences that will resonate with us all.”
