Adding to the growing list of performers at SOUNDSTORM 2022 in Riyadh, taking place from Dec. 1-3, here are six of the Arab artists joining the three-day mega-festival. Also performing will be DJ Aseel.
Rabeh Saqer
The Saudi Arabian superstar is one of the Arab music world’s most beloved artists, with songs such as “Ana Ahebbak” and “Latemanan” capturing the hearts of fans across the world.
Hamaki
The Egyptian superstar, who has had sold out shows in Saudi Arabia previously, is known for songs like “Ma Balash,” “We Aftakrt,” “Wahda
Wahda” and “Kan We Kan.”
Amr Diab
The prominent Egyptian singer-songwriter calls his meld of Arabic harmony and Western rhythms “Mediterranean Music,” and it has influenced many subsequent artists.
Mohammed Ramadan
The Egyptian actor, singer, rapper, dancer and producer has dropped superhit tracks like “Yalla Beena,” “Ana el Batal,” “Versace Baby,” “Thabt,” and
“Bye Bye Thanaweya.”
Nancy Ajram
Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram made waves internationally this year with her new hit single “Sah Sah,” as it became the first Arab song to debut on the American
Billboard Dance Charts.
Myriam Fares
The Lebanese diva, who gave us hits such as “Ghmorni” and “Inta el Hayat,” is also the subject of a Netflix documentary entitled “Myriam Fares: The Journey.”
