Unlike other fragrance houses, Dolce&Gabbana has eschewed the typical route of releasing new fragrances and campaigns every quarter. Instead, the luxury brand has stuck by English model David Gandy as the face of its popular men’s Light Blue range for the past decade and periodically updates it with limited edition releases. The result is a familiar scent that we keep returning to time and time again.

This month, Dolce&Gabbana returns to the island of Capri in Italy for 2016’s limited edition Light Blue. In 2007, David Gandy and Marija Vujovic found themselves in the very same place for the campaign of the original Light Blue.

Spicier and more citrusy than the original, due to the involvement of bitter orange and cedrat, Light Blue Beauty of Capri is perfect for a day out in the sun, thanks to its intensity. After a few hours, it settles into a subtle sweetness that’s complemented by the signature Sichuan pepper. We love it, and we’re sure you will too, especially if you’re a fan of the original Light Blue scent.

Available in three sizes (40ml, 75ml and 125ml) and priced from $91 and onward
