If you prefer to go the distance ‒ literally ‒ it will accompany you both in the water and on land. The Garmin Venu’s 50-metre water resistance is more than capable of handling a swim, while its inbuilt GPS will track your mileage and map your run effortlessly, and even share this information in real time with your friends and family to let them know you’re safe. Should an emergency occur, the watch can also send an automated message to your emergency contacts using your Bluetooth-connected smartphone. Simply preset this function using the Garmin Connect app and you’re go to go!
The Garmin Venu is more than just a sports-focused smartwatch though. Its integrated Garmin Pay contactless payment solution can serve as your e-wallet to cut some clutter when you’re out and about.
This watch is also able to either store and play your music, or stream it from the web directly, so you’ll never be without your favourite tunes. And the icing on the cake? It can last for up to five days before needing a battery recharge.
