Tiffany & Co.’s men’s engagement rings pave the way for women who wish to turn the tables on dated relationship traditions.

WHEN IT COMES TO who should propose, the traditional mindset that men should take the plunge prevails. While this is predominantly the case, millennials have broken this antiquated custom in recent years.

Let’s not forget, progressive Xennial Pink proposed to former American motorcycle racer Carey Hart in 2005. As women continuing flipping the script, we have seen a burgeoning demand for men’s engagement rings.

Being one of the pioneers in the jewellery industry, Tiffany & Co. debuted its first engagement rings for men, dubbed The Charles Tiffany Setting. However, this is not their first foray into men accessories. In 2019, the house released a line that includes necklaces, pendants, bracelets, rings, watches, bar accessories, homeware and games.

The five-diamond engagement rings complete their repertoire of accessories for gents. Named after founder Charles Lewis Tiffany, the collection follows the footsteps of its iconic sister, the Tiffany Setting, honouring the jeweller’s long-standing legacy in love and inclusivity while blazing a trail for new traditions.

It deviates from the traditional wedding band with a modern signet silhouette. A striking diamond centre sets in thick platinum and titanium bands, revising the classic men’s style. Soon-to-wed couples can select between round brilliant and emeraldcut diamonds in up to 5 carats. The pieces with a round brilliant diamond showcase a streamlined knife-edge band, inspired by the iconic Tiffany Setting, while an emerald-cut styled diamond boasts architectural bevelled edges. All Tiffany jewellery, their diamonds come with a certificate that highlights its origin, along with where it was cut and polished, graded, quality assured and set. Tiffany continues to bring a new level of transparency to its diamond supply chain, reaffirming its reputation as the leader in diamond traceability.

Launched in May 2021, The Charles Tiffany Setting engagement rings are available at Tiffany & Co. flagship stores globally.
