Ac­cord­ing to re­search car­ried

out at the Royal Chil­dren’s Hos­pi­tal in Mel­bourne, Aus­tralia, the recog­nised age at which adolescence ends should be raised to 24 – up from 19. The study con­cludes that peo­ple are stay­ing in ed­u­ca­tion longer and get­ting mar­ried later, and there is ev­i­dence that some peo­ple con­tinue grow­ing into their 20s.
