Pesky Myths

It is often believed that bed bugs are only found in a dirty environment but they thrive just as well in an uncluttered and clean home. Others also believe that leaving an area unoccupied for a long period of time leaves the bed bug without a food source, stopping the infestation. Unfortunately, the younger bed bugs (nymphs) can survive months with nothing to feed on and the adult bed bugs can live up to a year without feeding! Getting rid of them is not as easy as you think!
