A HEALTHY STRIDE FORWARD
Singapore YOG 2010
The inaugural Youth Olympic Games (YOG) brought great expectation and excitement to Singapore in August, 2010. The Little Red Dot in Southeast Asia scored a media scoop by drawing enormous attention from around the globe, with an estimated 3,600 athletes, between the ages of 14 to 18, descending upon the republic to compete in the games and at the same time, cultivate friendships, learn about other cultures, develop and broaden their perspectives on salient global issues while vying for medals in their respective sports.
