Prevention
As part of a worldwide effort, the Global Health Security Agenda was introduced with the aims to better protect all people from health threats and strengthen public health systems in countries that need it most in order to stop outbreaks before they become emergencies. It outlines three major areas of significance — Prevent wherever possible, Detect rapidly, and Respond effectively. While the agenda is taking form, the world continues to look out for new epidemics that could surface from any part of the world.
