Individual income tax

-

Individual income tax is the tax that we pay to the government annually, for income earned over a period of one year. The amount of income tax that we need to pay depends on various factors such as our resident status in Singapore, the amount of income we have earned, and if we are entitled to certain government-initiated tax reliefs. Personal income tax is only imposed on people who earn $20,000 or more annually. Those who earn lower incomes are exempted from paying any income tax.
