With durian sea­son in full swing, you’ve prob­a­bly been get­ting your fill of the golden fruit. But the baked and charred of­fer­ings at Dou­ble Durian cafe (8 Hamil­ton Road) are some­thing spe­cial – the fruit is served three ways: baked, char­coal baked and ying yang baked, where it’s warm and caramelised on the out­side but cool and creamy at the cen­tre.
