Fit for Company

One of the many lovable toy breeds, the Shih Tzu has grown in popularity as a domestic companion and show dog in Singapore.

In the famed words of James Mumsford, an American teacher and composer, a Shih Tzu is best described as, “a dash of lion, several teaspoons of rabbit, a couple ounces of domestic cat, one part court jester, a dash of ballerina, a pinch of old man, a bit of beggar, a tablespoon of monkey, one part baby seal, a dash of teddy bear and for the rest, dogs of Tibetan and Chinese origin.”

Despite its uncanny resemblance to a little lion, there is truly nothing fierce about this dog breed; with its self-assured poise and adorable underbite, the Shih Tzu is the right mix of charm and sweetness.

As a matter of fact, the Shih Tzu is born a lover!
