It’s Guinea Be Good

Clubpets - - OTHERCRITTERS -

The perfect middle ground between a dog and a hamster, the American Cavy, also known as the American Guinea Pig, has been domesticated since 5000 BC. Despite their name, guinea pigs belong to the rodent family and have little relations to pigs.

Stout and short-legged, an adult American Cavy stands at approximately thirteen centimetres tall, with its hind legs longer than their front. Its small, triangular mouth contains a set of teeth that grows continuously, resulting in its need to constantly chew or gnaw.
