Yoga sisters and long-time COMO collaborators Andrea and Christina Curry, lead a six-night retreat on the calming island shores of Parrot Cay by COMO in the Turks and Caicos. Against a Himalayan backdrop, David Melladew shares his wisdom of the ancient art of Qigong. David, who heads up the Oriental Medicine programme at COMO Shambhala Estate in Bali, teaches the Pa Kua Chang Qigong set called the ‘Eight Animals’ centred on key elements of Taoist philosophy. Each day includes morning and afternoon Qigong sessions, discussions on Qigong practices, morning ‘‘microcosmic circulation" meditations, and short hikes into the surrounding mountains. There’s also a chance to explore some of Bhutan’s landmarks and monasteries. Signature COMO Shambhala Cuisine, along with our range of organic wellness juices, complement the holistic experience.
