“We’re drinkers first,” says director Kelvin Hoon, who together with friends have opened The Swan Song while juggling full-time careers. Well-versed drinkers can access the owners’ Scotch collection by dram, hence sharing the ‘swan song’ of a bottle that might be gone forever. The young duo of Kim Shin, formerly Jigger & Pony, and Jayden Ong, ex-sugarhall, have identified an aesthetic that was lacking in the scene – minimal and back to basics.
