What is the business model of Rascal Republic?

Rascal Republic is considered the pioneer of experiential investment. We present dynamic investment opportunities in both luxury sea voyages and eclectic land and villa ventures. We are a a portfolio of development opportunities that offer financial and lifestyle returns. From Singapore’s breathtaking 1-Altitude rooftop bar to iconic luxury yacht Rascal, our existing projects span the yachting, travel & tourism, hotel & real estate, food & beverage and blockchain sectors.

What has been your most memorable experience through Rascal Republic?

It is when we set up Rascal Voyages, carving a niche in the luxury hospitality industry. Right now, Rascal is the most talked about luxury Phinisi yacht, offering bespoke voyages through the Indonesian archipelago. We are also committed to help save and conserve the marine life. Rascal Voyages was created in order to educate holiday goers about these endangered creatures and the fleet is now expanding to more areas. Soon, new Rascal yachts will serve the Indian Ocean and the Gulf of Thailand, offering unique itineraries around The Maldives and Cambodia.

How do you split your time between Indonesia and Singapore? I’m just thankful that Singapore is home to one of the best airports in the world. Travelling to Indonesia takes two and a half hours, and I do this fortnightly. Flying back and forth is like a daily commute for me.

What’s your favourite festive food?

I love my family’s roasted turkey with the traditional trimmings. My home is the U.K., so my family will gather every Christmas over a table filled with dishes, such as Pigs in a Blanket, roasted cauliflowers and broccoli and, of course, the cranberry sauce for my favourite roasted turkey stuffed with chestnuts.

How are you going to spend your holidays?

My wife and I have recently purchased a house in Holland Village. We are in the midst of moving in. I will spend time exploring the neighbourhood to discover the exciting eats available.
