Social stop

Created by Thai luxury property developer Sansiri, SIRI HOUSE is a new 3,000 sq ft lifestyle and social space nestled in Dempsey Hill. The project includes Jam at SIRI HOUSE, a 48-seater restaurant decorated with vintage chandeliers, dark lacquered walls and de Gournay hand-painted wallpaper, with handwoven silks from Jim Thompson Fabrics covering the ceilings. Drinks are concocted using house-made distillates and spirits. Try the SIRI HOUSE Negroni made with a Thai red tea infusion.

The restaurant menu is crafted by former Lolla head chef and current coowner of Park Bench Deli, Ming Tan, and Jeremy Cheok of New Ubin Seafood and Garang Grill. Highlights include a thick cut Scallop Carpaccio, paired with yuzu and truffle dressing, sautéed spring onions and spring onion oil, with Kizami kombu and trout roe providing a savoury finish. Dry-brined fried chicken oysters are paired with lemon, sage and a dill, garlic ranch dressing. The reverse-seared Prime Rib is cooked in an oven on low heat to heighten the flavours in the crust before it’s being finished on the charcoal grill and dressed with a shio kombu butter and a salsa verde. Block 8D, #01-02 Dempsey Hill, Dempsey Road. Tel: 9667 0533
