Homegrown Chinese fine dining restaurant and Michelin-starred Imperial Treasure makes its proud European debut at St James’s Waterloo Place. The sophisticated interior, which is designed by Studio Liaigre, reflects a blend of French aesthetics, British architecture and Chinese cultural elements. The tasting menus (from £50/S$90/person for lunch, £100/S$180/ person for dinner) include the stellar house speciality, Imperial Treasure’s Peking Duck. Matured for an average of 40 days, each glistening, crisp-skinned duck is expertly carved at the table.
Restaurateur Alfred Leung also shines the spotlight on premium ingredients like Gillardeau oysters from France, Iberico pork and A5 Wagyu beef. Even the dim sum selection is luxed up, offering snow mountain buns of Iberico char siew pork, Wagyu beef puffs and crispy lobster beancurd rolls. Pair the indulgent fare with Old and New World wines, which are curated by wine expert Ch’ng Poh Tiong, as well as a collection of over 30 Japanese and international rare whiskies. 9–10 Waterloo Place, St James’s, London SW1Y 4BE.
