set of organs and systems, such as the endocrine and the nervous system, affecting the senses, perceptions and awareness. For example, the sacral chakra, located in the lower abdomen, is our centre of sensuality and self-worth, fertility and creativity. When it's balanced, it enables us to ‘let go’, connect openly to others and develop our own sense of pleasure and creativity. Thus, the spa at Four Seasons Resort Bali designed a deep lymphatic scrub, Vichy shower, nourishing bath and flowing chakra warming massage with ylang ylang and jasmine oils, and meditation that are aimed at restoring the sacral chakra.

Fera personally leads the meditation classes, hosts a series of talks and the peaceful Sacred Nap session, but she says that self-awareness is the ultimate healer. “You should be the healer for yourself. There is so much a healer can help you, all she or he can do is to offer you a temporary relief. It is like taking a painkiller. The first person who is there for you when you feel the pain is yourself so it is important to embrace yourself first,” says Fera.
