Gather the fam­ily on Sun­days as chil­dren dine for free at Marco Pierre White’s English House. The four-course Sun­day Roast ($75) is avail­able from 12 to 8pm, and in­cludes canapés, a starter, roast or main­board item and dessert. Din­ers can opt for clas­sic items, in­clud­ing roast chicken, honey roast pork belly with sage and onion stuff­ing, or roast rib of Black An­gus with tra­di­tional York­shire pud­ding and creamed horseradis­h. All roast dishes are served with braised cab­bage, Swede purée, roast pota­toes, but­tered peas and gravy.

Of the five other main­board items, cod and chips is a fa­mil­iar favourite, while the es­sen­tial Omelette Arnold Bennett – a baked omelette with Parme­san, Mor­nay sauce and smoked had­dock – is a lighter but no less sat­is­fy­ing dish. End with a dessert, prefer­ably the ex­cel­lent bit­ter cho­co­late mousse served with crème Chan­tilly and hazel­nut nouga­tine. Helmed by chef de cuisine An­drew Bennett, the restau­rant’s larger à la carte menu will be avail­able from 5.30pm on Sun­days. 28 Mo­hammed Sul­tan Road.
