EPICURE’S CHOICE

The things we crave this month

-

The Museum of Modern Art’s first Design store in Greater China, and also the largest MOMA Design Store in Asia, opens this month at Hong Kong’s latest cultural and retail hub, K11 MUSEA. The 6,000 sq ft space infuses local elements that evoke its Tsim Sha Tsui locale, and stocks MOMA exclusive products and limited edition releases that are only available in Hong Kong. Examples of these MOMA exclusives include products inspired by the works of Andy Warhol, Monet and Picasso, along with collaborations with artists such as Yayoi Kasama and KAWS. Local designers, whose products make it to MOMA’S stocks will definitely be one to watch as well, as they have to undergo an eight-step vetting process to meet the skyhigh standards of MOMA’S curatorial team.
