Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection presented its 2020 cruise destinations over an exclusive dinner with 30 epicure guests.
The holidays are fast approaching and there's only one way to spend it, according to president and chief executive officer of Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection, Ellen Bettridge. The exuberant lady introduced the group's latest luxury river cruise tours at an exclusive dinner organised by epicure and held at Sheraton Towers Singapore.
The dinner was hosted by epicure's senior publisher Cecilia Goh and managing editor Adeline Wong. Guests included Alberta Canada Singapore Office managing director Shane M. Jaffer, Greenwood Fish Market owner and director David Lee, Roger Lee, strategic investment director of Xin Gang Investment, and Felicia Soh, general manager (consumer products) of Olam International. Also present were The Travel Corporation's managing director (Asia) Nicholas Lim, Uniworld’s director for Asia Henry Yu and his team members.
Wong took to the stage to introduce Bettridge, who shared snippets of Uniworld's newly launched itineraries that traverse across Egypt’s Nile River as well as amusing encounters on board. “It was a fantastic event connecting with new friends and showcasing how Uniworld is the best luxury river cruise brand worldwide,” enthused Bettridge.
The scrumptious four-course menu with wine pairings sponsored by Cellarmaster Wines kicked off with a Royale de L'oeuf, consommé de homard topped with Kaluga Queen caviar, which matched the fruity and light Philipponat Royale Reserve Brut NV. The Wagyu Bouef was just as impressive when served with the Château Boutisse Saintemilion Grand Cru 2016. The night came to a sweet conclusion with the refreshing Tarte Tatin aux Pommes served with a glass of La Caudrina Moscato d’asti La Caudrina DOCG 2017, the latter redolent with hints of mint, white peach and lychee.
