PARKROYAL on Kitch­ener Road is in the midst of a year-long trans­for­ma­tion pro­ject, but with Christ­mas sea­son right around the cor­ner, you’ll still be able to en­joy the ho­tel’s fes­tive of­fer­ings.


As part of its ded­i­ca­tion to im­prove the guest ex­pe­ri­ence, PARKROYAL on Kitch­ener Road has been un­der­go­ing re­fur­bish­ment since March this year. The Su­pe­rior Rooms have been en­tirely re­freshed and now sport sooth­ing, nat­u­ral colours. The tran­quil oa­sis is bathed in nat­u­ral light, thanks to the rooms’ large win­dows. Sim­i­larly, the swim­ming pool, gym­na­sium and ex­er­cise stu­dio have been given a com­plete re­vamp to cater to guests’ well be­ing.

Mark 12 De­cem­ber on your sched­ule, as that is when all-day din­ing restau­rant Spice Brasserie com­pletes its trans­for­ma­tion. The restau­rant’s new look is in­spired by the vi­brant her­itage of the Lit­tle In­dia neigh­bour­hood, with an evoca­tive dé­cor and match­ing am­bi­ence to boot. Their ex­ten­sive à la carte and buf­fet of­fer­ings in­clude a tempt­ing se­lec­tion of Asian street foods and modern in­ter­pre­ta­tions of lo­cal clas­sics.

The re­fur­bished Spice Brasserie will be an ideal set­ting for a ca­sual Yule­tide gath­er­ing, where friends and fam­ily can en­joy the Fes­tive Buf­fet ($52-62 for lunch, $52-88 for din­ner; de­pend­ing on date). Tuck into the Tra­di­tional Roast Turkey or grab a slice of Bone-in Gam­mon Ham, fin­ished with Spice Brasserie’s sig­na­ture ginger and sarsi glaze. Christ­mas din­ner isn’t com­plete with­out a yule log, and you won’t want to miss out on the White Choco­late and Cream Cheese Red Vel­vet Log Cake stud­ded with brandied fruits and toasted nuts.
