Ori­gin + Bloom is a be­fit­ting name for Ma­rina Bay Sand’s lat­est F&B of­fer­ing. The airy, na­ture-in­spired pâtis­serie and café is ded­i­cated to us­ing sea­sonal in­gre­di­ents so ex­pect an ever-chang­ing menu from its pas­try chef An­to­nio Ben­ites.

Do not miss the Mango ($10). Nam doc mai man­goes, which are renowned for their in­tense flavour, are made into a mousse and lay­ered with pas­sion fruit-ly­chee jelly and Sarawak pep­pers for a hint of heat. Choco­late fa­nat­ics will love the Salted Or­ange Choco­late Cake ($14), a ca­cao bean-shaped treat of rich choco­late cake, milk choco­late ganache, fleur de sel and or­ange zest.
