A MULTISENSORY EXPERIENCE

-

If your idea of the perfect vacation involves a lodge in Bhutan, a desert adventure in Israel’s Arava Valley or a palazzo in the heart of Rome, you may want to take a closer look at three of Six Senses’ latest properties.

Six Senses Bhutan just unveiled its fifth and final lodge, as part of a journey across the picturesque western and central valleys of the Kingdom. Six Senses Bumthang is located in Bhutan’s spiritual heartland, home to ancient monasteries and sacred monuments. The lodge was built around existing pine trees and each of the eight suites features spacious balconies and forest views across the valley. The five-lodge, five-valley journey seamlessly weaves the brand’s wellness, sustainability and out-of-the-ordinary experiences with the Kingdom’s natural and spiritual richness.

In a completely different landscape, the recently opened Six Senses Shaharut offers an immersive desert adventure in the south of Negev Desert. With 60 suites and villas, the resort flawlessly blends in with its earthy surrounding. Hand-carved stone walls and a sand-coloured interior make way for the dramatic valley panorama, highly visible from the floor-to-ceiling windows of the suites and villas. There is a panoply of wondrous experiences. From jeep safaris to camel treks and from sunrise yoga to late-night stargazing, find enriching delights in every turn. Restorative treatments and wellness programmes are also available at Six Senses Spa.

Set to open in late 2021, Six Senses Rome will be Six Senses’ first property in Italy and is luxuriously located in the heart of the ancient city, Piazza di San Marcello. Fontana di Trevi and Pantheon is just a few blocks away while the city’s shopping streets of Via Condotti, Frattina and Borgognona are within walking distance. This Patricia Urquiola-designed hotel offers 95 guest rooms and suites. It is also equipped with a spa, a restaurant, an events terrace, an outdoor courtyard garden, and a rooftop terrace with a 360-degree view of the city. Roman baths and the Six Senses Spa will provide a sanctuary of wellness for guests after a long day out to explore all the roads that lead to Rome. www.sixsenses.com
