Fresh Ginger Turmeric Tea VK-P=
Yield: Two 8-ounce servings Prep time: 15 minutes
• 2 cups water
• 2 inches fresh ginger, peeled and grated
• 2 inches fresh turmeric root, peeled and
grated (or ½ tsp ground turmeric)
• 1 to 2 tsp raw honey or maple syrup
1. Bring the water, grated ginger and grated turmeric root to boil in a medium saucepan. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. 2. Remove from heat, strain and sweeten to taste.
