Sin­ga­pore wel­comes its first out­let by Lecker­baer, an ar­ti­sanal bak­ery known for its in­no­va­tive take on traditiona­l Dan­ish but­ter cook­ies called småk­ager. Its first over­seas ven­ture out­side of home town Copen­hagen, Lecker­baer's ir­re­sistibly In­sta­grammable sweet treats are vis­ually de­light­ful and cre­ative in flavours. The småk­ager ($2.80 each) has a tex­tured Dan­ish but­ter base ac­com­pa­nied by star flavours such as Rasp­berry, a cookie sand­wich with jam; Caramel with blue­berry meringue; Vanilla with cala­mansi; Banana with berry sugar and salted caramel; or Pas­sion­fruit with al­mond cake and meringue. These mini 'cook­ies' offer ad­dic­tive lit­tle bites with the right dol­lops of soft creams and jams to com­ple­ment the light crunchy tex­ture. The 36-seater patis­serie opens at Ise­tan Scotts and of­fers a menu of other sweet and savoury con­fec­tionar­ies.
